One screen for the whole library: what we track, what the status chips mean, and where each title stands tonight.
Stable, and the title we reach for first when a build needs sanity-checking on a new PC.

Astro Bot sits in the Stable bracket and has stayed there across builds, which is unusual for an early emulator. Levels load, checkpoints hold, and a long session is realistic rather than theoretical.
It is also our informal smoke test. If Astro Bot will not boot on your machine, the problem is almost certainly your setup rather than the title, and the low-FPS checklist or a driver update is the right next stop.
This is the title most worth connecting a DualSense for. Astro Bot leans on the controller harder than almost anything else on the platform, and the haptic and adaptive-trigger path is the part of emulation people notice immediately when it is missing.
Pair the pad over USB for the simplest result. The DualSense guide covers Bluetooth and the cases where Windows claims the pad before Vesper sees it.
Vesper includes no games. Use File then Add games to point the launcher at the Astro Bot copy you already own, exactly as described in add your games.
Firmware comes first, though. Without your own official PS5UPDATE.PUP installed, the launcher has no system software to boot into and the tile will not start.
Stable does not mean a target resolution or frame rate, and we publish neither. A platformer this precise will feel wrong if your machine is struggling, so the recommended spec matters more here than the minimum.
Expect the occasional visual glitch between builds. Early emulation improves unevenly, and a fix for one title can disturb another.
Yes, it currently carries the Stable chip and has been consistent across recent builds. That describes reliability, not any particular frame rate.
DualSense support including haptics and adaptive triggers is one of Vesper's features, and this is the title where it matters most. Connect over USB or Bluetooth.
No. Vesper is a launcher for games you already own and ships with nothing playable of its own.
Astro's Playroom also carries a Stable chip in the app. It is a smaller download and an equally good first test.
