Do I need the games?
Yes. Own your library. The 400+ titles in the app are compatibility records, not downloads.
Is Vesper free?
Yes, and without an account. What it does not cover is the games, which you have to own.

The direct answer
Yes. Vesper is free to download from this site. There is no payment, no account, no trial period, and no paid tier holding back features.
There is one build of the app and everyone gets the same one, including the full launcher with its 400+ tracked titles and their honest status chips.
What free does not cover
The games. Vesper includes, sells, and streams nothing, so your own PlayStation 5 library is the part you must already have.
Firmware too. Your own official PS5UPDATE.PUP comes from Sony's system-software page or your own console, and we host no PUP files, keys, or dumps.
Why free, and what we do not do with your data
The project exists because emulation is interesting to work on, not as a funnel toward a purchase. There is no store in the launcher and nothing to upgrade to.
Nor is the installer a vehicle for anything else: no bundled extra software, no toolbars, no third-party video players on these pages. If a site offers you a paid or unlocked version of Vesper, it is not ours.
Questions
Is Vesper really free, with no catch?
Yes. Free download, no account, no paid tier. You bring your own firmware and your own games, which is the only thing we ask.
Will it become paid later?
The download is free today and is distributed from this site. Anyone selling you a licence for Vesper is not us.
Is the download safe?
The installer here is the only build we distribute. It bundles no extra software, and we host no firmware, keys, or game dumps.
Do I need PlayStation Plus or any subscription?
No. Vesper has no connection to PlayStation Network and no online service of its own.
