No video tracking

This page shows still photography with interface overlays — no third-party video player, nothing auto-plays, nothing to track you.

Early footage

What you see can differ from today's build. Vesper changes often in early access.

Your games stay yours

Vesper doesn't include, sell, or stream games. Use it only with PS5 games you already own.

Features

An emulator, not a theme.

Vesper runs PlayStation 5 games on Windows. Here's what the app is built around — and what it won't promise.

Per-game status

Know what runs before you press start

Every PS5 title in your launcher is Stable — based on real builds, not wishes. The Windows app holds 400+ titles.

  • Status on every tile
  • No fake 4K60 claims
  • Updated each build
USB & Bluetooth

DualSense on PC

Connect a DualSense over USB or Bluetooth and drive the whole launcher from the couch. Xbox and other Windows gamepads work too, and keyboard and mouse still work.

Vulkan renderer

A modern graphics path that needs a Vulkan 1.3–capable GPU with current drivers.

Only games you own

Vesper ships with zero games. Add PS5 titles you already own — nothing bundled, nothing streamed.

Early, and improving

Expect crashes and glitches while emulation matures. Every build moves statuses forward.

How it works

From installer to first boot in four steps.

Setup is short on purpose. Here's the whole thing.

  1. Step 01

    Download the installer

Grab the free Windows installer from this site and run it like any other program.

  2. Step 02

    Install firmware

In Vesper: File → Install Firmware, then select your own PS5UPDATE.PUP (PlayStation 5 system software). Not bundled — get it from Sony's official PS5 system software page or your own console. We do not host PUP files, keys, or dumps.

  3. Step 03

    Boot system software

File → Boot system software. The PS5 UI starts on Windows — then your games.

  4. Step 04

    Add games you own

File → Add games, point Vesper at the PS5 games you already own, connect a DualSense, and press start.

Requirements

What your PC needs.

Emulation is demanding, and Vesper is early. Performance depends on your hardware, the title, and the build — treat these as starting points rather than guarantees.

Not yet supported: Windows on Arm, macOS, and Linux.

A DualSense over USB or Bluetooth is recommended. Keyboard and mouse work everywhere in the app.
