### What is a PS5 emulator, in one sentence?

Software that reproduces enough of the PlayStation 5 on a Windows PC for the system software, and then your own games, to run on it.

### Do I need to understand any of this to use Vesper?

Only PS5UPDATE.PUP really matters, because you have to supply that file yourself. The rest is background.

### Is emulation the same as downloading games?

No. An emulator is a runtime, not a store. Vesper includes no games and expects you to own what you play.
