# Kena: Bridge of Spirits — PS5 emulator

Stable, modest in scope, and the best first thing to try if your PC only just meets the minimum.

## Facts (2026-10-13)

- **Status:** Stable
- **Hardware load:** Modest
- **Good for:** Testing a minimum-spec PC
- **Controller:** Any Windows gamepad

## Where it stands

Kena holds a Stable chip and is among the least troublesome titles we track. Its scope is smaller than the big open worlds, and emulation is easier for it as a direct result.

That makes it genuinely useful as a diagnostic. If your PC sits close to the minimum spec, this is the title to try first, because a failure here points at your setup rather than at an ambitious game.

## Running it on a modest machine

A 4-core x64 CPU with AVX2, 8 GB of RAM, and a Vulkan 1.3-capable GPU on a current driver is the stated floor, and Kena is one of the few titles where the floor is a reasonable place to be rather than an optimistic one.

Keep it on an SSD if you can. It streams far less than the city-sized games, so a slower disk hurts less here than almost anywhere else.

## Getting it into the launcher

Install your own official PS5UPDATE.PUP, boot the system software, then add your own copy of the game through the File menu. [The add-your-games guide](/setup/add-ps5-games) has the specifics.

There is nothing to buy from us and nothing bundled. Own your library, and Vesper launches it.

## FAQ

### Will Kena run on a minimum-spec PC?

It is the title we would try first on a machine at the floor of the spec. It is lighter than the large open worlds and carries a Stable chip.

### Do I need a DualSense?

No. A DualSense is recommended across the app, but Kena plays fine on an Xbox pad or any gamepad Windows recognises.

### Is it a good way to test a new Vesper build?

Yes. Along with Astro Bot and Sackboy it is one of the quickest sanity checks after an update.
