## What a game page covers

Each page takes one PlayStation 5 title and describes how it behaves in Vesper today: the chip it carries, what it asks of your hardware, how it plays on a DualSense, and how to add the copy you already own.

Ten titles are written up here in full with their own covers. Hundreds of other title pages share the same Game — PS5 emulator URL shape; if we do not have that game's art we show a generic desk or pad shot, never another title's cover. The Windows app still holds 400+, and [the dashboard](/dashboard) shows where the featured set stands.

Vesper ships with zero games. Every page describes your own copy once it is in the launcher, never a download.

## Where to start

Try something light and well-behaved before the most demanding game you own. [Kena](/game/kena-ps5-emulator) and [Astro Bot](/game/astro-bot-ps5-emulator) are the quickest sanity checks: if either fails, look at your setup before you blame the game.

Then open the page for the game you actually care about. [Final Fantasy VII Rebirth](/game/ff7-rebirth-ps5-emulator) and [Rise of the Ronin](/game/rise-of-ronin-ps5-emulator) are both Stable in the launcher — same chip as the rest of the featured set.

## Before any tile will start

1. Get your own official PS5UPDATE.PUP from Sony's PS5 system software page and install it with File then Install Firmware.

2. Boot system software from the same File menu.

3. Add the games you already own with File then Add games.

## Reading the list honestly

A chip describes reliability, not speed. No title here comes with a 4K or 60 frames-per-second promise, and [the status page](/words/stable-beta-test) explains where the lines between Stable, Beta, and Test sit.

Your result still depends on your CPU, your GPU driver, and the build you installed this week. Chips move in both directions, and demotions are published alongside promotions.

## FAQ

### Why only ten game pages when the app tracks 400+?

This list covers a featured set in full prose. The Windows app holds 400+ titles with a chip on every tile, and that is where the rest live.

### Do these pages include the games?

No. Vesper includes, sells, and streams nothing. Each page describes how your own copy behaves once you add it through File then Add games.

### Does a Stable chip mean a set frame rate?

No. A chip describes reliability across long sessions. We publish no resolution or frame-rate figures for any title on this list.

### Vesper closes before the library appears. What now?

A missing-DLL message at launch usually means the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 x64 runtime is absent. Install that official Microsoft package as the missing-runtime guide describes, then open Vesper again.
